A life in movement, a practice rooted in relationship.
I am a Cambodian native, holding a Belgian and a Cambodian nationality. I lived twenty years as an expatriate around the world. These movements across continents have shaped my understanding of the world, my self-awareness, and my capacity to navigate uncertainty. I am also a mother of two, and the journey I have walked to become the person and the professional I am today has been long, and deeply meaningful.
I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from Webster University in Geneva, and a Master of Science in Educational Sciences from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).
My professional path has taken me through experiences in international schools and private mental-health clinics, shaping my practice that is both globally informed and deeply relational.
All these experiences allow me today to sit with clients from many backgrounds with confidence, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.

I see you as the expert of your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, to help you see more clearly, and to support you in reconnecting with your own inner resources. You may come to me at a moment when your mind feels cloudy or overwhelmed — over time, you will discover your own capacity to navigate life with confidence and self-trust.

What guides every encounter
Four convictions that shape how I welcome you and accompany your journey.
I believe that every person carries an inherent kindness, even when life's turbulence makes it difficult to see or feel. Challenges, trauma, or moments of overwhelm do not erase who you are at your core. Sometimes kindness becomes quiet or hidden, but it never disappears. In therapy, I hold a gentle space where your kindness — toward yourself, others, and your community — can re-emerge and strengthen.
An accompaniment, shaped around you
I don't arrive with a single method. I arrive with attention, and several ways to listen to what's moving through you.
Drawing on CBT, EFT, IFS, psychodynamic and person-centered approaches, and Gestalt therapy.
Recognizing together the patterns that weigh on you, and helping them soften — never forced.
Welcoming, naming and transforming what words alone cannot say.
The protector, the wounded one, the one wanting to move forward — each one deserves to be heard.
Exploring what your personal story keeps telling, and what can finally settle.
You are the expert of your own life; I walk beside you, without setting the pace.
In the body, in the relationship, in the moment unfolding right now.
Let's explore your questions, your emotions and your strengths together.
You don't have to go through everything alone — nor forever.
My wish: to see you move forward with clarity, resilience and a renewed sense of direction.

What they say
I came into this not entirely sure what I was looking for, only that something needed to shift. What I found, over the course of a year, was something I didn’t expect: a space that was both safe enough to be honest in, and challenging enough to actually grow. What sets Ketya apart isn’t warmth alone, though she has that in abundance. It’s the precision. She has a rare ability to sit with you in your experience without rushing to resolve it, while also gently, persistently holding up a mirror to the patterns you’d rather not see. That combination, of being truly heard and being genuinely challenged, is what made the work feel real. I won’t pretend the process was easy. But I can say, with full sincerity, that I am more self-aware, more steady, and more at peace with who I am than I was a year ago. Not because something was fixed, but because I was helped to see myself more clearly, and to carry that with more gentleness. If you’re considering this step, I’d simply say: the work lives inside you, but the right guide makes all the difference. For me, Ketya is that.
I highly recommend Ketya and wish her all the best as she begins her career as a therapist. She has been incredibly supportive, kind, and easy to talk to during the time she has been helping me. Her empathy and genuine care really make a difference, and I know she’ll be great in the path she has chosen.
I am so grateful for Ketya. She met me at a time where I knew I needed help, but I didn’t know why and what for. She listened to me and really understood what I was going through. In a time where mental health support can be often slow and expensive, she helped me in the complete opposite fashion. I really wish everybody could have the same experience that she provided for me. I am so very thankful for what she has done for me.
First going to therapy was initially scary for me. I was anxious about what to say and what I would get to talk about, but after the first session with Ketya those fears were gone. No matter if I spoke clearly or could not keep a topic, Ketya always listened and I always felt understood. I felt like I was always able to discuss and share the most pressing matters regardless of if it was planned or not. There would be times, where we would make a plan for a next session but something else came up. we would discuss what was more important for me. Beyond feeling understood Ketya asked the important questions and help me ask the right questions as well, exploring topics felt natural as I was able to speak freely and she would give just the right amount of input to help me think deeper about the subject. I also appreciated that there was some humor at times it kept the mood light. I went from feeling anxious about therapy to feeling confident and sure that I would get the help and space I need with Ketya.
I have found her to be a serious, hard-working, and compassionate counselor who consistently demonstrates genuine care for her clients and a strong commitment to providing high-quality clinical work. She approaches supervision with openness, humility, and thoughtful self-reflection, while showing a clear dedication to continuous learning and professional growth. She also maintains respectful and collaborative relationships with colleagues and contributes positively to the team environment.
